So what do you want
to be when you grow up?
In truth, there are
very few of us who end up being the Astronaut or a Princess. What
you wanted to be when your granny asked you when you were 4 years old
will probably have very little influence on what you actually end up
doing.
That said, some
people have very clear ambitions and stick to a career path which
guides them through their school years and leads to university.
Others have less definitive goals and take longer to decide on the
path they wish to follow.
Whichever of these
groups you fall into, or if you fall into another one altogether,
it's not always easy to get the job you want. Gaining employment can
feel like a job in itself and there is certainly a skill to filling
in applications forms and attending interviews.
SYIS display local
jobs in our drop in and can help you with the application process and
help to signpost you to other organisations which may help. Please
feel free to pop along for support and advice.
